NP (or PA) Contract Position (part time) in behavioral health field - Full-time / Part-time

A private, physician-owned practice is looking for an NP (or PA) experienced in the field of pediatric mental health.

This position is a CONTRACT position only and will not be contracted through The Mentor Network, but through a private practice.

This position involves seeing patients mostly via Telehealth in the Raleigh, NC office.

Other duties include taking patient histories, doing exams, making assessments and diagnosis, prescribing medications and collaborating with Therapists and other support staff, as well as reviewing charts, signing forms and answering call backs and questions.

The schedule for this position is part-time, 4 days/month with no on-call requirements.

Reminder: This is a contract position through a separate company (not The Mentor Network).

Requirements:

*Candidate must be an independent functioning NP or PA with experience in the field of mental health, preferably with the Child Mental Health population.

*NP Candidates must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by the North Carolina Board of Nursing and the North Carolina Medical Board.

*PA Candidates must be licensed as a Physician Assistant by the North Carolina Medical Board.
