About this job
Candidates will be responsible for the assembly of complex cables used in military applications.
Responsibilties:
-Wire stripping and crimping
-IPC 620 certification Preferred(current or recent or knowledge of it)
-"Locking and Torqueing"
-Cutting cables to correct length
-Assembly and installation of terminal pins and pin plugs
-Previous experience with cable assembly is preferred or previous experience with complex, small electronic assembly
-Ability to read blueprints or schematics
Tools: wire strippers, crimpers and some soldering
Candidates must be computer literate. All work instructions are on the computer at their station. Also use the computer to clock in and out and start a specific job order.
Some of the pieces of the cables are extremely small and require use of magnifying glass and very detailed assembly.
