Job Description

• Thin Wall Stainless Steel Tig Pipe Weld
• Travel to customer locations in the Pacific NW
• Weld pipes using TIG (gas tungsten arc welding or GTAW)
• Apply independent judgment in assembly procedures
• Apply metal forming and shaping techniques and processes
• Apply quality assurance techniques by examining work pieces for defects
• Assemble metal components
• Maintain welding equipment
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.

 

Job Requirements

 

• Must have 2+ years of pipe welding experience
• Understand manufacturing methods and techniques
• Able to read and understand operating manuals
• Have good math and problem solving skills
• Able to maneuver heavy objects
• Take a Tig Pipe Weld Test
• Willing to submit to a drug screen
• A vehicle is required for this position to travel to customer locations.

Pay Rate: $22-25 hour based upon experience
