POSITION PURPOSE
Home Depot Interiors is responsible for the Sales and Manufacturing of premium Kitchen and Bath remodeling products offered in over 45 major markets. The Regional Field Marketing Representative establishes and maintains and builds relationships among the HDI staff and store associates to help foster a greater partnership. The incumbent will regularly visit stores to provide training, promotional materials and reports to store personnel. In addition, they will be responsible for generating and participating in various promotion events and shows to help develop the business. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Maintain and foster a positive working relationship with the stores through regular store visits.
  • Work with sales reps to generate cabinet refacing, bathtub liner and home organization appointments.
  • Participate and schedule staff to work all assigned home shows and store events.
  • Regularly visit assigned stores to provide training, promotional materials and reports.
  • Coordinates all home show and in store display logistics with the Installation Manager.
  • Installs and maintains in store signage and promotional materials.
  • Ongoing maintenance and cleaning of displays as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager. NATURE AND SCOPE

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Age: 18 Must pass drug and background tests. EDUCATION REQUIRED
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED. YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE -3
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Must have a valid driver’s license with access to transportation and required insurance
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
— Previous experience in sales or marketing required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
— Strong motivational skills. — Strong verbal and written presentation skills. — Prior training experience would be helpful. — Computer skills including the use of Excel. — Strong time management skills.
