Job Summary

Oversee the day to day operation of the Delta Boat Department by supervising scheduling, training, and payroll. Provide direction and guidance to employees, verifying accurate operational, safety and security procedures are followed. Responsible for maintaining an individual cash bank and managing appropriate amounts of change throughout shift for employees. Supervise the cash handling procedures of employees and support the tracking of all promotional, discounted or comp tours that affect those cash handling policies. Provide assistance to guests while they load and unload the Delta boats to monitor adherence to appropriate safety standards. Maintain the safety guidelines throughout the tour. Coordinate all outside group arrangements, special event needs and additional package options including booking of special events, tours, and weddings. Supervise quality of tours provided by all employees. Monitor guests' opportunity to ask questions, disseminate information about the river and the property, and manage time and atmosphere of tour. Provide tracking reports to management necessary for accounting purposes such as employee rides, comp information, tour groups, and any other rider statistics. Provide communication link of information between employees and management.

Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Identify and recommend new ideas, technologies, or processes to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
