Assembly, Sub Assembly and Machining/Welding Lead - Full-time / Part-time

A manufacturing company in the Wooster, OH area is looking for Assembly, Sub Assembly and Welding/Machining Leads. These are 2nd shift and weekend shift openings. Please see job description and qualifications below if interested.

Job Description:

Assembly/Sub Assembly:

• Leading assembly operators (4-7)
• Increase efficiency and productivity of operators and equipment
• Ensure quality standards are met
• Help troubleshoot equipment
• Assist with changeover, set up
• Provide scrap, SPC charts, time and attendance and vacation scheduling
• Routine quality audits of components produced by workcenters
• Blue prints
• Micrometers/Calipers
• Supervision/lead experience

Welding/Machining:

• Leading assembly operators (4-7)

Qualifications:

Assembly:

• 3 years manufacturing experience
• Blue print reading
• Experience with machine operation, brazing, electrical/mechanical maintenance is a plus
• Lead experience
• Must be assertive, able to resolve conflict, communicate openly with team members, drive production to meet goals
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs

Welding/Machining:

• 3 years manufacturing experience
• Blue print reading
• Micrometers/Calipers
• Robotics experience
• MIG/TIG welding
• Electrical maintenance is a plus
• Lead experience
• Must be assertive, able to resolve conflict, communicate openly with team members, drive production to meet goals
