As an Area Sales Representative you will work with the team to support the sales efforts of Pitney Bowes' Presort Services .This helps our customers simplify their domestic mailing solutions. Your career with Pitney Bowes will help you develop your skills in both solution selling within the Mailing industry. This position is remote base.

The Job

• Sell presort services and manage the sales process. Identify and contact prospects and interview individuals involved in decision making processes.
• Prepare sales presentations, marketing letters and price proposals.
• Explain the functions performed by Pitney Bowes and communicate the benefits of the services.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects.
• Represent Pitney Bowes at trade shows or other promotional opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience in the marketing/sales environment.
• Three years of "outside/commissioned" sales or sales management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Requires strong interpersonal skills to develop rapport with clients and their representatives at various levels or positions.
• Ability to work effectively under the pressure of meeting quota and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Proficient in SalesForce.com, a sales management tool, is preferred.
