Description:
Senior Software Engineer to lead and perform development tasks for client projects with Internet-, intranet-, extranet-based or internal applications. The successful candidate will demonstrate command of object oriented design concepts and be able to perform at the highest levels in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of Microsoft technologies, including .NET, C#, VB.NET, MS SQL Server, database interactions and data modeling tools. Understands new web technologies to provide technical leadership in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to intranet and external Internet-related systems. Provides written design documents, test plans and test results. Manages, develops, integrates and implements related applications components, including front-end development, server-side development and database integration. This is a senior engineer position where we expect the individual to be able to architect and lead the technical effort of a project, and someone who is then able to code the solution.

Responsibilities:

Design, plan, recommend, develop, and/or implement project specific software solutions to meet tactical, reliability, performance, and security requirements.

Assume accountability for the successful completion of assigned projects and tasks with adherence to established standards, procedures, and processes as identified byNaviSite.

Formulate and recommend technical specifications and provide professional consultation and guidance to team members.

Qualifications :

-

Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum of 6 - 8 years development experience.

- Design and software architecture experience for enterprise application.

- Excellent skills and experience in Microsoft .NET

- Intermediate SQL Server/DB expertise

- Experience integrating front end designs with master page templates

- Significant experience with XML, HTML, JavaScript, object-oriented design and data architecture required.

- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.

- Proven exceptional " soft " skills in communication, customer service, teamwork, and adherence to technical standards and procedures.
