Lead CNC Machinist

Job Description:

Lead CNC Machinist will lead daily production for the CNC group. They will run time studies, program and set up machines and manage the team. They will do tool changes and manage the Quality of the product being produced. They set up their machines for long runs of production of parts, sometimes making enough to last a couple years.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing environment. Safety is important, eye glass and hearing protection required. Closed toe shoes a must, steel toes not required. They have Okuma and Hass lathes and mills. They are MW machines and they have a MWY machine coming in.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years previous experience with CNC machines and leading a team. Prefer them to have experience setting up Okuma and Hass machines. Must be able to conduct time studies and lead daily production. Must be able to program and set up these machines.

Lead and manage people, Safety, Quality of product, Program, set up and tool changes

Additional Compensation:

$20-$23 per hour - based on experience

Additional Information:

1st shift, M-F, 7am-3:30pm, no real OT
