Information Technology - Full-time / Part-time

Company based in the McDonough, GA area seeks IT Specialist for IT systems administrator and operational support.

Will be responsible for:

• Day-to-day operation of the network and computer systems.
• Support and assist in the install of the organization’s network and computer systems, including local area networks, wide area networks, and other communication systems.
• Provide operational support to end users to ensure IT systems are stable, operating efficiently, effectively, and securely.

Other Skills and Qualification

• System Administration, Application Development, and Project Management or related experience is a major asset.
• Understanding networking concepts including LAN and WAN connectivity
• Knowledge of virtualization, distributed applications, and cloud computin
• Perform self-paced, continuous education of IT systems as well as knowledge sharing with other staff members. must possess a high level of technical expertise, good communication and documentation skills, and have a clear focus on best business practices in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with any unified IT asset management system is required.

Education and/or Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hours 8am-5pm Mon-Fri with on calls after hours
• Must be able to travel 2-4 weeks per year.
