Jr.Molecular Technologist - Full-time / Part-time

A molecular technologist performs laboratory testing procedures on cells, such as intricate nucleic acid procedures. The technologist prepares cell samples and sets up equipment for testing procedures; examines cells for abnormalities, such as the presence of microorganisms and indications of disease; and counts the amount of cells in a given specimen.

The molecular technologist is responsible for:

-Responsible for performing molecular based technical and scientific processes and procedures in a high complexity genetic testing CLIA certified laboratory
- Performs and documents Quality Control. Performs QC review as scheduled.
- Performs specimen collection procedures and processes specimens for tracking and transport as needed

Requirements:

- BS degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences

- Minimum 3-5 years of lab experience as a lab technologist

- Meet the requirements for Testing Personnel under CLIA regulations

- NextGen is preferred, but not required
