Team Member - Full-time

Position Summary:

The Team Member performs in-home cleaning duties as assigned by the Team Leader. He/she must be able to work well with others, be dependable, follow instructions and maintain a professional appearance. This person does not lead other Team Members.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

• Performs as a Team Member.
• Cleans six or more homes per day.
• Rotates and performs Team Member duties as assigned by THE MAIDS Home Services Team Leader - Kitchen cleaner, Bathroom cleaner, Vacuumer, & Duster.
• Performs all duties in strict accordance with THE MAIDS Home Services policies, cleaning system and procedures.
• Reports supply needs to Team Leader.
• Reports all irregularities to Team Leader including broken items, safety hazards and any problems that might occur during the day.
• Assists other Team Members as needed.
• Performs all duties in an honest, safe and secure manner; delivers quality, efficient and courteous service.

Occasional Duties:

1. Special project work will be assigned by the Team Leader as required. Examples are: oven cleaning, window/wall washing and other specific cleaning assignments.
2. New member training/demonstration also may be assigned on occasion.

Additional Requirements:

1. Physically able to lift (5 to 45 lbs., 30 to 50 times per day), bend, stoop, climb, reach, stand, sit, kneel and twist.
2. Must be visually astute/aware to rapidly comprehend what is dirty and/or in need of cleaning.
3. Position requires much flexibility and ease of movement.
4. Position requires manual dexterity and use of both hands.
5. Ability to perform duties free from strenuous work complications such as: breathing problems, back problems, muscle strains or allergic reactions to soaps, detergents, acids, alkaline and/or dust.
