This position will sit in our Pitney Bowes Mail Services business unit. This business unit helps customers earn the best possible discounts on First-Class and Standard postage with our presort services, doing work the U.S. Post Service would otherwise have to perform. This service spans the globe with international offerings, ranging from mail preparation and fulfillment to courier and freight services



Pitney Bowes is seeking a Staffing Analyst to work in our Urbandale, Iowa. Hours will be Monday - Friday 4pm-12:30am



The Staffing Analyst utilizes KRONOS Workforce Scheduler and proprietary systems to develop a staffing matrix based on incoming mail volumes.? This entails generating work schedules, monitoring and adjusting staffing levels as needed based on this matrix, providing forecasts, reports and statistical analysis for operating center management to assist with optimizing labor levels and ensure continual business improvement.? The Staffing Analyst will partner with management to become a trusted resource and assist with related onboarding/staffing processes as necessary. The decisions or recommendations made by this position are directly attributable to the continued success of Pitney Bowes Presort Services.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:?

Utilize KRONOS Workforce Scheduler to generate employee schedules; monitor and adjust staffing levels as needed; generate call lists; produce key metrics and ensure data integrity when necessary.

Assist with related onboarding/staffing processes as necessary, e.g. monitoring attendance points, notifying supervisors of any KRONOS issues (missed punches, payroll deadlines, etc.) and ensuring vacation/time off request polices are complied with, etc.

Monitoring temp labor and approving time sheets

Understand proprietary custom mail flow volume application to assist with recommending staffing adjustments and producing key metrics.

Assist with the development, implementation and publishing of operating center policies and procedures related to staffing issues.

Maintain business/technology/industry expertise.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualification


Qualifications:

High School diploma, GED or equivalent schooling required

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Proficient computer skills required to perform spreadsheet functions such as exporting and importing data and ensuring data integrity.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; basic mathematical skills; problem resolution and analytical skills.

Knowledge of payroll policies a plus.

Ability to interpret and report statistical data. Previous experience with Kronos Workforce Scheduler 6.1 and/or labor scheduling in a production environment a plus.

Willing to work additional hours if needed


Ability to stand, walk,lift, stoop and bend for long periods required

Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check required
