ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

  • Responsibilities and Duties

    o Utilizes skills to contact customers regarding open invoices and payment status via fax, email and telephone.

    o Reviews customer accounts to investigate and resolve potential accounts receivable discrepancies in order to maintain accuracy of data and ensure deadlines.

    o Responsible for the billing, collections and monitoring of customers and vendors.

    o Records daily bank deposits and process daily ACH payments.

    o Prepare month end A/R reconciliation to General Ledger.

    o Complete weekly bank reconciliations to General Ledger.

    o Support business units throughout the processing cycle and at month-end close.

    o Assist credit and collections team to contact accounts regarding past due invoices.

    o Assists in monthly and annual closings.

    o Works with the Controller to investigate, correct, and follow up on any inaccuracies identified.

    o Provides support to Controller as requested.

  • Education and Experience

    o 1 to 2 years’ experience in accounting or accounts receivable preferred.

    o Experience with Word, Excel and Outlook preferred. High school diploma required.
