Benefits Representative - Full-time / Part-time

Local healthcare company looking for Customer Serivce Representative for their Benefits Verification team.

• Take incoming calls from patients and/or patient family members with pharmaceutical or healthcare questions
• Make outbound calls to doctors, healthcare providers/physicians, nurses, pharmacists, to verify patient information and prescription information/process
• Perform benefit and insurance research for plan participants
• Make sure that the patient and the doctor have all of the information need to distribute the pharmacueticals
• Data entry of customer demographics and other related information
• Will explain financial obligations to the patient prior to them receiving their prescription
• Must follow-up with doctors and insurance companies when needed
• Manage all benefits investigations on behalf of the Plan Participant determining their benefit coverage and communicating the financial obligations
• navigate multiple screens
