Aerotek in Baton Rouge, LA is currently accepting applications for a 40 hour Hazwoper technician for an environmental remediation project in Shreveport, LA.
Job duties will consist of: air monitoring; fire control; gathering and organizing data; daily logging and reporting; communicating with DEQ and EPA officials
Ideal candidate must be professional, punctual, and have great communication skills
This is a 3-6 month Contract position. Candidate must be able to work 10-12 hour days, 6-7 days/week.
Required certifications: 40 hour Hazwoper (must be current)
Candidate must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
No per diem.
