Survey CADD Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Applicant must be responsible, highly motivated, and a detail oriented individual interested in joining our Land Surveying department as a Land Survey Computor. Applicant must be able to work in a team environment as a key member of a professional surveying staff assisting in the performance of boundary, ALTA, topographic, platting, right-of way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, and construction surveys utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technology.

Responsibilities:
*Assist the survey project manager with all aspects of the daily office workload.
*Daily uploading and downloading of data collectors and reduction of files.
*Survey computations for boundary and topographic surveys and construction stakeout.
*Drafting of Boundary, ALTA, topographic, house location surveys and record plats.
*Continually advance knowledge with upgrades with software and technology.
*Work independently as a one person field crew or assist field crew as required.
*Recognize and work in a safe manner to comply with all safety regulations.

*will set up daily work for Survey Crew
*will set up construction stake outs for buildings, elevator shafts, etc
*will set up cut sheets for the crews
*will be recording plats/boundaries
