Product Engineer

Our client, an agricultural equipment company located in Grand Island, Nebraska, is in need of a product engineer to work specifically in the grain handling department.

Candidates will be responsible for the researching, designing, developing, testing and assisting manufacturing in the installation and support of equipment products. Candidates will prepare technical drawings, specifications, design Calculations, operations manuals, Installation manuals and bill of materials.

Qualifications:

-Must display strong system analysis and problem solving/analytical skills to be considered for this position.

-Candidates must be able to operate efficiently in AutoCAD Inventor. Experience and understanding of farm equipment is a must.

-Candidates must have the ability of following and developing strict timelines and budgets. This candidate will work following lean product development principles.

-Interaction with clients, vendors, other engineers, and executives is an integral part of this position so strong communication skills are a must.

-Candidates with a "hands-on" mentality tend to work the best in this position.

Qualifications:

-BS or MS in Mechanical, Agricultural, or similar Engineering discipline is a must.

-1-5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing or engineering setting.

-Candidates with a background in Agriculture or experience on a farm preferred.
