The Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for project management and assisting with the creative development on our web pages, keeping our proprietary systems current, and navigation friendly.

This job requires strong project management and effective communication skills. The job further requires the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals such as peers, sales executives, agents/brokers and carriers.

Overview of Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting with the implementation and ongoing coordination of the web page assigned to the Marketing Department.

Acts as the administrator for updates and additions to the web page, working with members of operations, sales and IT to keep current.

Supports Marketing Communications and Events with projects.

Additional Skills and Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent, advanced education or college degree preferred

Power user of project management software, Content Management Systems, HTML, Social Media A-Z, proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office and PowerPoint

• Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on site (in the office) a minimum of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, generally with shift start times between 8:00-8:30 a.m., as determined by senior management.
• Ability to attend interoffice meetings

• Ability to work overtime, holidays and weekends as requested by senior management
• May require occasional in/out of state multi day travel

• High level planning, organizing and time management skills
• Ability to successfully prioritize and remain calm when faced with requests, demands and deadlines

Ability to self-start and think/act independently and in concert with co-workers, management and customers

• Ability to sit for long periods of time, lift a minimum of 5 pounds, file, stand, bend, reach, pull
