Automotive Technician Summary: The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance services. This generally includes, but is not limited to: oil changes, inspections, and brae work of light automotive equipment.
AutomotiveTechnician Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
AutomotiveTechnician Responsibilities:
- Routine preventative maintenance & repair on fleet of light duty sedans & trucks.
- Engines mostly comprised of gas / CNG / or hybrid.
- DOT Inspection work.
- Perform oil and filter changes, rotating tires, brake changes, etc.
- Lubrication of various types of equipment/vehicles.
- Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed.
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualified Candidates For The Automotive Technician Position Will Have Met The Following:
- Required:
- Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years of previous automotive maintenance & repair experience.
- Must own tools.
- Excellent customer service / driver relations skills
- Valid DL
Working Conditions:
Shop, office, yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 20 to 50 lbs., at least once a day.
