Medical Coder - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is looking for a Medical Coder for our healthcare client

This position will act as a consultant for the coding department within the whole healthcare network. This person will be traveling between the Adminstrative Building and Hospital working with physicians, coders, and internal personnel.

The responsibilities of this person will be:
1. Act as a consultant to physicians to give knowledge of coding procedures and feedback to develop good practices.

2. Develop a good relationship with physicians.

3. Oversees training within the coding department for new systems and new coding practices.

4. Conducts and tracks internal coding audits.

5. Can develop corrective action plans for changes needed within department

The manager is very straight forward and needs someone that is highly professional. Work environment would include interacting with physicians, internal personnel, and coding department.

Needs great verbal and written skills due to interaction with cleints, management, and customers.

Pay Rate: 21/Hr - 34/Hr
