SUMMARY:
Plans, coordinates, and shall be responsible for the procurement of the manufacturing process by performing the following duties. Must comply with all applicable regulatory bodies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following.

Serves as a member of the Management team with responsibility to ensure that the manufacturing of finished products process is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the applicable standards.
Overseeing the production process and maintaining production schedule. Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
Ensuring that the production is cost effective.
Responsible for implementing a schedule for all orders received.
Purchasing of materials and training to manage this function.
Hires, monitors and evaluates job performance.
Reviews and evaluates work standards and manufacturing processes for operators and inspectors.
Communicates with Purchasing Management or Quality Control/Quality Assurance regarding raw materials and/or manufacturing processes according to customer request.
Evaluates behaviors and attitudes of employees.
Communicates with Human Recourse or Director of Operations concerning disciplinary actions to be taken regarding employees.
Ensures continuous accountability of products being manufactured, keeping current information as required by the Device History Records.
Evaluates processes and machinery as necessary.
Coordinates receiving and shipping as required.
Trains workforce as required in various areas.
Possesses ability to supervise and motivate a team of workers.
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and work instructions. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to use a fax machine, office copier and personal computer required. Prior experience using various computer software packages, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word preferred. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 40 pound.
