About this job

BASIC FUNCTION: Assembly and test of sub-assemblies and final assemblies;
ensure high Quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Use work instructions, drawings or blueprints to assemble electrical-mechanical devices
2. Utilize appropriate hand and power tools to assemble all sub- and final assemblies
3. Perform point to point wiring of electrical panels using wiring charts or pictorial diagrams
4. Testing of electrical-mechanical devices with automated and manual test equipment
5. Identify and communicate future production shortages to Team Lead / Supervisor
6. Ensure high Quality Assemblies according to the Quality Standards
7. Complete production paperwork for Quality purposes and Performance review
8. Keep assigned work station clean and organized and improve continuously
9. Any other duties deemed necessary
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. 3 years experience as a Production Assembly Technician, Mechanic or Repair Technician
2. Excellent electrical-mechanical knowledge
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Ability to work overtime and on Saturday if needed
2. Ability to lift 50 lbs for a short duration, work standing up for extended periods



Required Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience as a Production Assembly Technician or Mechanic or Repair Technician
2. Basic electrical-mechanical knowledge
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings and bill of materials
4. Ability to use a variety of hand and electrical tools
5. Ability to work independently and with others in order to maintain a team environment
6. Ability to learn and work efficiently to meet necessary due dates and deadlines
