Summary

ARTS Senior Data Specialist

Position Summary

The ARTS Senior Data Specialist will assist with the enforcement of department procedures and policies, the development and direction of programs to help increase ARTS Data Logistics Team productivity, and monitor the daily workload of Arts Client Team Services, or ACTS. This position is responsible for correction of retail databases by troubleshooting root causes, communicating needed corrections, evaluating, analyzing and interpreting reports and data to identify inconsistencies. The ARTS Senior Data Specialist may support the retail team with entering, validating, and maintaining databases. This position will also be responsible to support the Logistics team by performing cycle routing.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting
    • Work directly with the client and retail team to research, identify, and communicate the different types of data issues which include but not limited to our different retail platforms, new and existing reports, template loads, WIM error logs, and all system admin inconsistencies. It is this positions responsibility to learn all assigned retails team’s reports, be able to analyze them for accuracy, trouble shoot and escalate issues as needed to the appropriate department. This position will also provide access to users and maintain user restrictions as required for all assigned retail teams
  • Logistics Analysis
    • Format coverage plans received from Store Routing Maintenance for import into Roadnet Logistics software. Process coverage plans in Roadnet Logistics software; generating itinerary data and route statistics. Deliver final coverage plan details from Roadnet Logistics software to client formatted for MS Excel. Load coverage plans into ARTS Systems using MS SQL Server. Support both retail and non-retail teams within ASM regarding logistical planning. Ensure Roadnet Logistics sessions are organized and clearly defined. Attend team meetings prepared to provide updates on current projects and issues related the team.
  • Database Entry
    • Enter and build assigned retail teams’ data which includes, but is not limited to team loads, account notes, surveys, audits, and promotion display tracking. This will be accomplished through formatted templates and data transcribed from documents received from the client, retail management, and sales organization. Information is to be entered within the allotted time frame.
  • Communication
    • Work closely with ARTS Supervisor to ensure appropriate communication is delivered in an accurate, timely, and consistent fashion. Monitor and communicate daily workload in coordination with the Data Supervisor, to maintain workload levels and ensure service level agreement with Client and Retail teams are met. Will work closely with all ARTS departments to ensure coordinated communication and completion of data entry and loads. This includes but not limited to the issues regarding Retail device data, template loads, all system admin inconsistencies and all Admin System related issues as needed. Maintain procedures and policies
  • Data Validation
    • Verify the data entered against the sources for accuracy and completeness of data for all assigned teams. Verify the quality of data received/entered against all sources to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Training
    • Coordinate efforts with Data Supervisor to educate and train the ACTS team on new processes, system enhancements, and device functionality. A scheduled ride along with a retail rep is required at least half a day biannually to keep current with the software and field staff needs.
  • Retail Software
    • Must understand the functionality of the retail software and how the data should appear in the different platforms. A scheduled ride along with a retail team member is required at least one day a quarter to keep current with the software and field staff needs.


Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience



Field of Study Area of Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in data maintenance management
  • 2-3 years of data analysis
  • 1-2 years of CPG industry, Category Management, Retail Merchandising or Manufacturing
