Home Instead Senior Care-Southwest Allegheny County and Washington County is adding to our team of passionate and dedicated Service Coordinators in our Bethel Park office. 

Our Service Coordinators are responsible for staffing home care assignments and customer service for both Clients and CAREGivers. The position involves HEAVY phone and computer work in a VERY busy office.   As a small team, we all wear many different hats during the day and we also pitch in to back up our on call team after hours and weekends.

ORGANIZE themselves and their tasks!
You must be able to multi task, have energy to keep up with the pace and not get flustered when multiple calls/requests come in at same time.

Maintain a POSITIVE outlook!
Let's face it, sometimes working with human beings can get interesting!  When the going gets tough, the tough get going!  We need positive people to keep the energy and mood up in the office to keep moving forward in the face of obstacles like multiple call offs.

Be FLEXIBLE and RESPONSIBLE!
Sometimes we have to work late to make sure our clients have a CAREGiver, we all rotate backup for weekend on call.  We are a 24/7 business so our jobs are not 9-5 all of the time.  All office staff goes through our CAREGiver training as well.  Our Service Coordinators have alot of responsibility - can you handle it?

TAKE PRIDE IN HELPING OTHERS!
Staffing an assignment with the right CAREGiver for the Client is an Accomplishment.  We are not interested in just filling a shift.  We are building relationships. It may seem small, but everything we do MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Be COMPASSIONATE but FIRM!
Yes, our business survives on building strong relationships but we are also a business. Customer Service to Clients, CAREGivers and Co-Workers needs to be stellar but, there are rules and everyone on the team must have the ability to be professional and be able to coach and educate -either in person or on the telephone.
 
  • PAID Training on our processes and systems will be provided.
  • This position is a Full-Time, Salaried position for a small business operating 24/7.  The Service Coordinator position is a great place to start to learn the home care business.  After mastering the basics of the position, we can expose you to other areas as all office staff are cross trained!
