Aerotek is looking for customer service/collection representatives to work in a call center environment and work off of a dialer system with inbound & outbound calls. You will be collecting on past due student loans. in the early stages of delinquency(1-60 days) You will be responsible for taking calls, calling students themselves and their co-signers to negotiate terms on how to get them current on their past due loan.

Contacts customers to determine reason for payment delinquency and obtain payment commitment by placing outbound calls these are non-routine and require navigation through multiple screens and programs. (early stage collection between 1-60 days past due)
Negotiates repayment plans.
Handle collection inquiries and issues.
Make decisions about acceptance/return of partial payments.
Must have 1+ year experience in a direct customer contact, service, retail, collections or sales environment.

120 calls / day (average 30 contacts / day)
Work off of multiple computer screens & systems (4-5 programs)
Evaluate customer financial situations and negotiate for full payment or create terms for repayment
40 total people in collections department
