IT Support Representative

IT Support Representative needed for a project at a University Library in DC. Responsibilities include general PC troubleshooting, setting up and configuring classroom audio visual equipment. This person will also install and configure client side network printing software, wireless LAN networking hardware and anti-virus and Spyware removal software.

Job Requirements:
  • Comp TIA A+ certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, TCP/IP addressing schemes and client side DNS & WINS configuration
  • Ability to navigate both Microsoft and Apple operating systems
  • Knows how to diagnose, repair and/or replace computers, printers, audio-visual and switching equipment components.
  • Ability to decipher hardware and software problems in a time critical environment.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively under time restraints and rigid deadlines.
  • Proficient with WordPerfect; Office Suite 2003/2007/2010; Adobe Acrobat


This position is a one month project through the end of September.
