CSR/TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR

Pridestaff is currently seeking EXPERIENCED CSR/Transportation Coordinators for a company located in Romeoville, Illinois. These positions are Temporary to Hire with a starting pay between $14.00-16.00

These individuals must be able to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks while satisfactorily meeting deadlines and desired outcomes. Must have open availability during the weekends.

Position Summary :

To ensure accurate and timely movement of freight to specific destinations within the customers level of service standards. Processing and organization of all documentation needed to initiate and complete movement of freight.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Verify all delivery orders and bills of lading have been received and are correct

  • Check that data is correct in the system

  • Ensure that the WebFT system is updated and accurate
    • Develops and maintains a positive working rapport with customers & transportation partners.
    • Work in a fast paced environment.


  • Ensure that all documentation is processed in a timely manner

  • Process paperwork out to operations at a container level.

  • Communicate on a daily basis with Centralized team, Transportation carriers, managers and/or supervisors when issues arise.

  • Monitor and report any level of service failures to the Customer Service Manager.

  • Handle all requests from customer in a timely manner.

  • Assist other CSR staff as needed and when time permits.

  • Cross train in other areas of the team

  • Support the company's commitment to quality, which includes customer specific Quality program(s), training requirements and work instructions.

  • Special projects as assigned.

  • Performs job related duties as specified by management

    Qualifications

  • At least 1 year industry experience

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Type 30 wpm

  • 10 key touch

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Organizational skills, meticulous flow-through skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends may be required

  • Must be assertive self-starter

    General office setting, typically the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work, usually at a computer terminal – with short breaks and/or lunch period. There may be bending/stooping, reaching above shoulder level, walking; standing; carrying of light items such as papers, books or packages of up to 25 pounds. In the warehouse setting, employee may be walking, standing and/or loading goods for long periods of time. The ability to bend/stoop, reach above shoulder level, walk; stand; carry of light to heavy goods weighing up to 50 pounds is required. Should be able to hear &speak clearly using phone / headset to communicate with customers; be able to navigate, view &enter information on the computer. May need to travel across US & Canada, international.
