a global leader in glass-based products for fiber and specialty nonwovens producers supplying technically demanding filtration, separation, and insulation markets. They have an immediate need for Line Operaors (Bailers).

The line operator position is a "hands on" position responsible for collecting and packaging sheets of glass microfibers. The line operators will collect, fold, load and bale raw glass fiber sheets into paper or plastic bags. Once bags have been baled, the line operator will lift, stack, wrap and transport units to a holding area using electric pallet jacks. Line operators also maintain the cleanliness of the production floor and perform routine basic line maintenance. Training and job expectations are in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

Daily Duties of this position include:

* Collect and fold sheets of glass fibers from rotating belt
* Move sheets of folded fibers to storage cart
* Load folded fiber sheets into compression chute
* Create finished bale using compactor and chute
* Operate a barcode scanner and have moderate knowledge of windows based copy and paste procedures
* Collect fiber samples for quality control technicians
* Inspect fiber for any discrepancies or glass "shot" pieces, including glass shards, needles, pellets, shot or any unfiberized glass
* Inspect packaging for misprints or damage
* Ensure the area is clean of debris or potential contaminants
* Inspect fiber and surrounding work areas for possible external contaminants to include:
- Dirt/dust/pollen, oil (grease or hydraulic fluid), insects and/or various species of bugs, tools or machine parts, bolts, nuts or screws, rubber pieces, etc
* Communicate throughout the shift with supervisors and operators when "shot" is discovered through the inspection process
* Clean fiber belts to prevent buildup and efficiency loss
* Accurately weigh and seal bales using heating clamp device
* Stack bales into units comprised of 16 pieces
* Deliver units to warehouse using a pallet jack
* Clean and properly maintain PAPR respirator units and associated parts
