Join us to conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. Support short and long term operational/ strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. Develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.


 


 


Overview:


We are seeking a motivated individual with extensive data analytics experience who can work in a team environment with minimal supervision and a strong attention to detail. This is a challenging and highly visible internal and external client facing role that allows for opportunity for growth and advancement.


 


 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Providing data analyst support for all Health Plan

  • Performance Reviews (HPRs)

  • Running standard and ad hoc reports and analyzing data related to financial, utilization, clinical patterns, diagnosis chapters, drivers, etc.

  • Identifying specific cost drivers and analyzing utilization patterns

  • Tracking data, cases, and reports

  • Lead ad-hoc analysis in support of Health Analytic

  • Consultants and department projects

  • Collection, maintenance and distribution of reporting detail required by client to demonstrate compliance with performance guarantee metrics

  • Provide data governance leadership for the team

  • Assist team with management of multiple data sources

  • Serve as interface with the customer's vendors for data export and import to fulfill contractual obligations

 

Requirements

Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree preferably in business, science, healthcare management, mathematics or related field preferred

  • 5+ year  of experience in business analysis. Advanced level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Demonstrated experience with data reporting, finance, underwriting or data analysis

  • Advanced Excel experience

  • Understand and use report templates in analysis of customer experience

  • Ability to identify areas where additional drill down and analysis is required

  • Good communication and PC skills. Knowledge and experience with Access, Excel and other database tools

  • Demonstrated ability to provide meaningful analysis of customer experience using all the tools available

  • Healthcare terminology understanding - preferred

  • Healthcare experience – preferred

  • We are looking for individuals who are located in the Southeast Region, Atlanta, GA or surrounding county location is preferred

  • Demonstrated process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes required

  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical  skills required

  • Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures
