Description

Warehouse Worker Lead
The Warehouse Worker Lead is responsible for checking built loads for accuracy, loading trucks, unloading trucks, and any and all everyday cleaning. The Warehouse Worker Lead will act as a Loader if needed.

Position Responsibilities
  • Be at work everyday and on time.
  • Be a positive team player and have good leadership abilities.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, electric pallet jack, and walkie rider safely and efficiently.
  • Fill out “Safety Inspection Forms” daily.
  • Load and unload all trucks: Market, Bulk, Full Service
  • Unload transports as needed.
  • Move product for builders as needed.
  • Follow load sheets to insure correct pallet position.
  • Sign and turn in all load sheets accurately and timely.
  • Correctly adjust any and all “Out of Stock” products.
  • Help builders when shorthanded and time allows.
  • Drive Trucks in and out of warehouse and docks when needed.
  • Work as a team to complete the job.
    • Trucks loaded
    • Bring backs put up
    • Warehouse cleaned and trash emptied
    • Pallets and hulls completed
    • Dock and Stage area should be clean and organized
    • Forklifts charged
  • Work in extreme weather conditions: Hot and Cold
  • Ability to work long hours, especially during busy season I.e. Summer and holidays.
  • All responsibilities of Warehouse Supervisor in his absence.

Schedule
The shift for this position will be Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to finish and Friday from 10 AM to finish. Weekends and holidays may be required occasionally.

Compensation
The starting pay for this position will be $12.00 per hour, and experience may be considered.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  2. 7 months of warehouse experience.
  3. Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
  4. Push and pull up to 100 lbs repeatedly
  5. 6 months of experience using a Forklift or Pallet Jack
