Job Overview:

Santa Claus is the center of the Santaland experience and Macy's primary holiday ambassador to the public during the Holiday Season. Santa Claus is expected to cheerfully greet and welcome all Santaland guests offering a portion of his time to diligently listen to their holiday thoughts and wishes.

Essential Functions:

• Conducting visits with Santaland guests
• Ensuring the magic of Santa is present in each of his visits
• Cheerfully meet, greet and take photos with guests of all ages
• Perform other duties as needed
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

• Santa experience preferred
• Acting experience preferred
• Ability and desire to work with children required
• Customer service experience required

Communication Skills:

• Exceptional verbal communication skills required
• High level of positivity required

Mathematical Skills:

• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Reasoning Ability:

• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Present a professional image consistent with Macy's brand values

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged sitting required with people on your lap posing for photos
