What You Will Do - Windows Systems Administrator -Cloud Systems:
Be part of a team of capable engineers that see things to through resolution.
You will work and collaborate with various teams across multiple technologies (e.g. networking, storage, Unix, ESX, Cloud). You will also work closely with our trusted partners (e.g. Microsoft, VMWare, HP). As you distinguish yourself, you ' ll have increasing responsibility for customer environments to help manage a holistic view of their environment and make improvements. As you develop a reputation for delivering quality results, your growth and opportunities are unlimited.
Responsibilities:
The Windows Systems Admin will be in charge of maintaining a
Windows-based
server environment
with over 1500 servers.
Some responsibilities include.
-Installing and repairing various hardware platforms (e.g. HP, Dell, Sun)
-Work on virtualization guests and hosts in dedicated and Cloud environments
-Installing, managing and maintaining MS ADDS with and without DNS integration
-Using GPO to implement Compliance requirements
-Set up Windows Performance Monitors and evaluate logs to determine performance issues and recommend improvements
-Troubleshoot Windows crashes, run debuggers and document resolution
-Project creation and execution for various improvements (e.g. firmware, OS, hardware)
-Accurately track effort spent on customer activities and provide regular meaningful updates
-Able to work within varying levels of compliance requirements
-Continuously contributing to improving team performance
-Required to participate in on-call rotation
What We Are Looking For
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
-BS Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience
-Microsoft Certifications a plus
-VMware experience is a plus
-Understanding modern networking technology is a must
-Strong written and oral communication skills are a must
-UNIX and Linux experience a plus
-Strong project management experience a plus
