Position Description:


All-star client facing Project Manager needed!  The
preventive health care member outreach team  needs another Rock Star
Project Manager to handle a “AAA” Client and more in this high profile
role  of implementing, executing, reporting on, closing, and improving
OptumInsight's  member outreach programs and projects. Come join our

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Present results of the programs/projects to clients and internal stakeholders with a strong voice and subject matter authority
  • Develop concise data-driven presentations for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Lead internal cross-functional and client interactive workgroup meetings to implement programs/projects
  • Manage
    internal stakeholder and client expectations, obtain acceptance of
    final results from internal sponsors and external clients
  • Manage call center, data enrichment, and print vendors
  • Develop a subject matter expertise on member outreach programs/projects within 6 months of hire
  • Receive, interpret, manage, scrub and verify program/project data from internal and external sources
  • Utilize and increase efficiency of department quality control checks for incoming and outbound data sets
  • Conduct
    post-project/program review and maintain a lessons learned log. Ensure
    future projects and programs are improved accordingly
  • Create and maintain business requirements documents and standard operating procedures for department operations
  • Develop, maintain, and improve upon inbound / outbound call scripting and member & provider-facing collateral
  • Listen
    to and analyze call recordings.  Make subsequent recommendations on
    training changes, vendor staffing modifications, and script improvements
  • Create program/project management plans with MS Project
  • Create work breakdown structures with MS Visio
  • Create MS PowerPoint presentations on a weekly basis to present status & results.
  • Deliver presentations to internal & external financial and program stakeholders.
  • Manage files in secure shared-drive and SharePoint environments
  • Comply
    with all internal policies for protecting health information and ensure
    that all data releases from the department are performed securely
  • Identify program/project risks and prepare & follow risk mitigation plans
  • Identify
    and build new outreach opportunities based on market demands and proven
    cost benefit analysis that include social media, direct marketing, IVR,
    and additional call campaigns that will help Medicare Advantage and
    Medicaid beneficiaries live healthier lives.
  • Manage
    a range of clients that vary in size, program sophistication and
    response requirements. With as many as 5 clients under your
    responsibility you will have multiple simultaneous competing priorities
    to manage at once. Your insistence and dedication to client satisfaction
    will require some long days, flexibility and stamina.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.  Business, Communications, Project Management,
    Health Services, or related field preferred.  
  • Excellent and confident oral and written
    communication skills to communicate with internal stakeholders and external
    clients required.
  • 2+ years of project or program management
    experience required.  3-5 years strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office
    suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Visio, and Word
    required.  Ability to create
    pivot tables, charts, graphs and use VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, IF, AND, OR, etc. 
    and ability to work across many worksheets or even workbooks to consolidate
    data from numerous sources.
  • Microsoft Access experience
  • Critical thinking experience required; Strong
    problem solving, organization and analytical skills
  • Ability to assimilate into a dynamic team and
    learn business processes quickly required
  • Advanced task and time management skills
    required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Database management and/or dynamic reporting
    experience preferred
  • Experience working in the health care industry,
    direct marketing or outbound call center preferred
