FOOD & BEVERAGE RUNNER
The Food Runner delivers food and beverages to the Lane Captain and may occasionally deliver food and beverage directly to the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned to ensure we meet our customer service objectives and/or as needed to adjust to business needs.
- Embraces and arrives to work prepared to foster an “Always Means Fun” work environment.
- Ensures that orders are complete and delivered on time in a fashion respective of proper food temperatures and presentation standards set by the HPC manual.
- Serves food, alcohol, and other beverages using a consistent reference point to distribute every order to the appropriate customer. Checks back with the Lane Captain or customer to ensure that all expectations have been met and or exceeded.
- Remains observant of any and all needs of the customer and Lane Captain; (for example removal of empty glass and plate ware, additional napkins etc.).
- Monitors concourse area for any liquid spills or trash on the floor as well as any tables that may need cleaned.
- Adheres to all state, local, and AMF regulations and laws concerning the service of food and beverage products.
- Proactively ensures that a clean, safe environment is maintained at all times.
- Readily assists colleagues with miscellaneous duties to prevent delays in the customer service experience.
- Promptly assists and responds to all customer questions or requests by immediately taking ownership of the inquiry and guiding to resolution.
- Interacts with customers as they leave the facility, thanking them for their business and inviting them back.
Requirements
- Consistent enthusiasm towards customer service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, multi-lingual skills a plus.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety procedures.
- Proven record of success in school and/or previous job experiences.
- Meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol.
