Training Manager

Position Description:

The Training Manager will contribute to the overall success of the company by on-boarding new team members, providing effective training for all new and existing team members and creating contests and incentive to motivate team members to achieve department and property goals.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

-Facilitate classroom and hands-on training for all new team members. Work with department trainers to ensure new team members are able to perform all required functions prior to completion of training
-Ongoing coaching and development of existing hourly employees „h Create daily, weekly and monthly contests and incentives to drive revenue. Maintain all tracking systems related to contests
-Communicate and ensure compliance with changes to policies and procedures
-Coordinate with Human Resources to create and execute programs to increase team member retention
-Take responsibility for personal growth and development by setting goals and seeking out knowledge without direction

Job Requirements:

-3-5 years of training experience
-3 plus years of retail or hospitality experience
-Demonstrated success in training program development
-Capacity to take a 'hands-on' approach to ensure effectiveness of training
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
-Proficient with MS Office- PowerPoint and Excel in particular
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills „h Excellent presentation skills
-Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
-Must be able to stand and execute fast paced movement for up to 8 hours
-Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to co-workers and guests
