Employees in this position support the Vision operations (Retail Vision stores,
Production lab) of the business. Only employees who are represented by a
Union should be in this function.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide excellent Customer Service at all times.
Take prescriptions from Providers.
Accept Inbound
Calls from Vision Provider Network to:Resolve and
log issues or complaints;Assist
Providers with other issues/questions: check status,
cancellations, edits.Make Outbound
Calls to Vision Network Providers regarding:Eligibility;
Warranty.
Retrieve and
return Group voicemail calls.Document
transactions in AS400.Initiate
E-forms for processing.Open and
process department mail.Provide back-up
for the Reception position.Approve and
submit out-of-warranty redo requests.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED.
Ability to work from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Comfortable working in a Union environment and able to pay Union dues.
2+ years of Telephonic Customer Service experience in a Call Center.
Ability to create correspondence and work within templates in Microsoft Word.
Ability to perform simple data entry and use sort filter functions in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to manage email and a calendar in Microsoft Outlook.
Experience working in a Vision Center, Optician, or Ophthalmology office.
