Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking a full-time Staffing Solutions Professional to join our Administrative Team in our Ann Arbor office. Job duties include, but are not limited to: * Utilize the systems, processes, and technology currently in place to effectively and efficiently carry out tasks. * Maintain a shared services mindset - sharing resources, providing feedback, asking questions, offering ideas, openly communicating, and learning from one other. * Support the recruitment process of sourcing candidates for a variety of positions. * Review advert responses and resumes of potential candidates. * Source candidates through searches in Manpower's internal database system as well external job boards/websites and non-traditional resources and efforts. * Pre-screen candidates using Manpower Discovery Questions over the phone, in-person, and/or through electronic correspondence. * Effectively prepare candidates for his/her visit to the Manpower office and/or interview process; discuss pre-employment requirements, and next steps in the process. * Interview potential candidates both over the phone and in-person, including serve as a back-up interview for other teams. * Verify candidates' current/past employment references to ensure positive and accurate work history and performance. * Maintain accurate information as it relates to customers, candidates, and associates within Manpower's internal database to ensure completeness and accuracy. * Assist and/or serve as a back-up to the post-intake/orientation area. * Answer incoming phone calls and provide desired information to caller or direct calls to the appropriate staff members. If needed, transfer calls to voicemail and/or take and deliver handwritten messages. * Troubleshoot to resolve the problems or complaints of customers, candidates, and associates. * Kindly welcome candidates, associates, and/or any other visitors into the office; determine nature of business; and assist/direct visitors to appropriate staff members. * Sort and route internal materials and documents to appropriate teams and/or individuals. * Participate and assist with marketing, sales, and recruiting events. * Recruit to form a well-versed pool of candidates for high demand skill areas. * Create and maintain a strong network of candidates and resources to support recruiting efforts. * Conduct outside service calls to to reactivate inactive customer accounts and to ensure quality customer service and expand business. Qualifications: * High school diploma/GED; associate's or bachelor's degree or equivalent general office experience helpful. * At least one (1) year of previous customer service or appropriate business experience a plus; previous general office/clerical experience highly desired. * Ability to operate basic office equipment (i.e., fax machine, copier, scanner, etc.). * Ability to present yourself professionally in communication and appearance. * Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with coworkers, managers and a diverse group of customers, candidates and associates. * Self-driven and the ability to work independently, with little supervision. * Ability to problem-solve. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Ability to multi-task with interruptions and shift priorities as needed. * Ability to remember information (e.g., policies, procedures) or find it as needed. * Ability to access areas where needed people, information, and/or equipment are located. * Ability to understand and accurately apply basic math skills. * Cooperative, team-oriented, patient, and calm under pressure. * Strong PC skills and the ability to navigate within the Manpower systems are critical.
