ManpowerGroup is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to help support our client's team. This is a temporary assignment lasting approximately four months. The pay rate is $13.75/hr.
Description:
*Working Hours: 8-5 - with overtime on an almost regular basis
*The manager is looking for candidates with strong listening and written skills. Previous related experience a must.
*Candidates must be able to multitask and balance work on hand (be able to prioritize). Must be able to work independent but also in a team setting
*This group requires a lot of hand holding to get things done, candidate must be willing to assist.
*Successful candidates must be able to take directions well and be flexible to assist when asked.
*Powerpoint proficiency is required, but Visio is an asset. Proficiency in Work and Outlook as well due to high volumes of calendar management.
*PowerPoint functions will include updating organizations charts, making changes to existing financial decks and importing org. charts from Visio.
*Candidate will be required to assist with daily calendar management, travel arranging, expense report and meeting preparation duties.
*Candidates should be able to work in an ever changing high paced environment and be action oriented.
* Important - Candidate needs to be confident to be able to push deadlines in a respectful way.
* Will only be dealing with internal managers
Summary: Provide administrative support and perform clerical functions for a team of 140.
Education/Experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2 to 4 years experience required.
Skills and Competencies:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
* Professional and polished.
*Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
*Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
*Intermediate PowerPoint skills.
*Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel.
*Knowledge of SharePoint and Visio an asset.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
*Main duties will include everything from restocking the kitchen, ordering computers, obtaining security access passes for new employees, filing, to changing toner cartridges.
*Update PowerPoint decks.
*Calendar management, travel arranging, expense report and meeting preparation duties.
*Perform other duties as assigned.
