These are part-time positions working Saturdays and Sundays with an hourly rate of $14-15/hour. Training will be for a 4 week period, Monday thru Friday. Great growth potential. There are multiple opportunities on various shifts! Primary Function: The Patient Care Rep is a customer care professional who interacts with patients and their families throughout the patient care process. Individuals in this role will may interact with patients and family members during the hospice care process by taking incoming calls, listening to needs and potential issues, and making objective decisions on how to route calls to nursing and support staff. Individuals in this role will be responsible for documenting all calls and interactions with great accuracy and completeness within the patient record system. Individuals will also make outbound calls to nursing and other internal staff members to provide information and assure that patient service requests are addressed quickly. Providing a high level service and empathetic care to is essential throughout the customer care process. Skills & Experience Required: * 2-4 years of customer service or related work experience supporting customers required * Experience working in a physician office, clinic, or hospital to include experience interacting with patients preferred but not required * Potential backgrounds include Patient Access Representatives, Medical Office Admins, Medical Billers, Medical Transcriptionists * High energy, friendly and professional individuals who are passionate about helping others and delivering exceptional customer service * Excellent telephone call handling and rapport building skills with the ability to effectively listen and document information with accuracy * A detail orientation with the ability to follow standard procedures, including procedures for documentation with great accuracy is critical * Ability to learn to use various software programs to perform work functions effectively * Ability to multi task and prioritize work based on changing customer needs
