For further job details see below. BASIC FUNCTION: Accountable for development and delivery of field financial consulting discipline in regional team model. Works cross-departmentally to establish financial consulting standards and resulting best practices and guidelines for financial consulting. Manages the Regional Financial Consulting team that provides financial health consulting support to field leadership (Managing Partners, CFOs) and home office leadership (Executive Officers, Regional Vice Presidents, and Regional Directors) in Agencies. Accountable for financial performance management support to the distribution system via the consulting team. Subject matter expert on financial performance management standards, guidelines, and accountabilities. Consults and advises the RVPs/RDs on the most complex system-wide and/or NO-specific financial issues, and acts as primary resource for financial consulting aspects of NAMP program and MP transition. Owns the development and implementation of programs to define and support the RFC and CFO roles of the future. Project lead for cross-departmental/functional initiatives involving system financial health and/or business consulting. Participates in field financial committees, including role as secretary of Agency Finance Committee (AFC) Real Estate Subcommittee. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, accounting or actuarial science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree and/or CPA preferred. Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible work experiences required, including financial analysis and project management experience. Minimum 5 years of experience working with Company's field force is preferred. In depth knowledge of field operations is also preferred, including NM's field compensation and contracts. Experience coaching and mentoring employees. Previous people manager experience or managing people in a project management setting preferred. Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely and quality manner. Strong critical thinking, financial analysis and problem solving skills required. Excellent written and oral communication skills along with the ability to build rapport negotiate and gain acceptance at all levels in the Home Office and field.
