POSITION SUMMARY:
Safely perform a variety of functions associated with the breakdown, assembly and inspection of components, semi-finished goods and finished goods to meet Company's standards of quality and productivity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES*:
· Safely achieve production throughput by the timely execution of assembly/breakdown operations.
· Assemble liners, cartons, torque caps, place/insert actuators, pumps, bottles and packout.
· Ensure quality output through the inspection of components used and operations performed (e.g. general inspection for defects).
· Utilize both fixtures and power assisted assembly aids.
· Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
· May require the use of computerized scanning equipment for data collection.
· Regular attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
· Perform other duties as assigned/required.


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
1. Skills and Knowledge:
· May require some basic knowledge of computers depending on assigned work location.
· Ability to communicate effectively.
· Ability to read, and interpret documents (e.g. safety policy, GMPs, SOPs).
· Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
· Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
· Ability to understand and apply training requirements specific to assigned department.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

· Continuously sit or stand, bend, lift less than 10 pounds, reach, grasp and walk.

· The employee is exposed to general ingredients, packaging components and machinery associated with cosmetics industry.

· When working in designated production areas, employees are required to wear hair nets, safety glasses, and vinyl and/or cotton gloves.
