The following opportunity is located at our Corporate Headquarters on Peachtree Dunwoody Road in Sandy Springs, GA.

As a Business Analyst for the Enterprise Business Intelligence Team you will be responsible for quickly and efficiently gathering and documenting requirements for BI solutions. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work across the organization, excellent analytical skills, a professional demeanor and the ability to participate in a team environment are keys to this position.

A successful Business Analyst for Business Intelligence is one who can gather requirements from business teams and owners, application teams or external stakeholders, translating them effectively for BI solution recommendations, design and development. Ability to work independently and self-led are required. We seek candidates that are equally comfortable speaking with business partners and with developers.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems or Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Work closely and interact directly with business, technology and product stakeholders to define and document business intelligence solution requirements
  • Demonstrates leadership to their business partners and acts as a mentor to less-tenured staff; utilizes effective communication skills to influence others.
  • Conduct analysis that identifies current state business and/or system processes and impact on data and reporting solutions
  • Research and document data flow and lineage thru reporting solutions, establish as-is and to be diagrams with impact analysis on end users and customers
  • Takes ownership in projects and suggests revising, repairing or expanding existing programs to increase value of business intelligence.
  • Create software development lifecycle documentation including business requirements documents, solution design documents, run books, operations manuals etc…
  • Communicate activity status to project manager and help keep stakeholders informed of project status and all related issues
  • Proactively work to identify, communicate and resolve project issues and risks that interfere with project execution or success across teams and stakeholder groups
  • Collaborate closely with and assist external technical teams to ensure timely deliverables
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively work on multiple projects, work streams or activities as required
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively work on large, complex projects spanning multiple applications
Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years IT business or systems analysis experience documenting business intelligence or reporting solutions
  • Experience with ERP implementation (Oracle would be huge plus)
  • Contributed as business systems analyst for large system and/or business process automation initiatives preferred, demonstrating ability to understand upstream impact on reporting and BI solutions
  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and facilitating requirements gathering sessions is required
  • Hands on experience, implementing reporting and BI solutions with one or more enterprise reporting tool such as business objects, oracle business intelligence, Web Focus or equivalent
  • Prior experience with enterprise data management including data integration, data modeling and data quality
