Responsibility: 30-40 k
Supervise employees in labelling, order picking, delivery of product, and receiving raw materials: train, monitor performance and attendance, coach and when necessary, discipline employees
Ensure that employees are working safely and efficiently
Oversee picking, packing and staging of product; the wrapping of pallets and loading onto truck using hydraulic pallet jack
Oversee drivers, ensuring accurate shipments, and on time deliveries. Product is shipping in 26 refrigerated truck operated by Simmering Soup
Oversee the receiving of raw materials
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all shipping and receiving paperwork
Ensure proper rotation of finished goods and raw materials
Ensure accurate inventory counts are conducted daily
Qualifications:
Supervisory experience required
Experience in food production and BRC / SQF requirements an asset
Shipping / warehouse experience required
Strong organizational skills
Good communication skills
Ability to read, write and complete paperwork accurately
Good computer skills
Ability to lift totes of product weighing 35 lbs. To 40 lbs. The maximum height for lifting would be shoulder height (the top tote on the pallet)
Highly motivated and able to work independently
