Maintenance Technician (1st )
PrideStaff is currently seeking motivated and skilled Maintenance Technicians for a Manufacturing Company in Romeoville, Illinois.
These positions are 1st shift and are Temp-To-Hire positions that start at $23.00 to $28.00/hr with insurance available! Plus there is a raise upon hire on!
These individuals must show knowledge in electro-mechanical maintenance, knowledge of PLC controlled automation equipment, experience with injection molding equipment, and capability of working in a fast paced work environment.
Main job duties:
- Performs, electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery, and production and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoots injection molding machines, supporting equipment and secondary operations like automated assembly lines during regular production runs
- Performs root cause analysis on equipment and machinery malfunctions
- Dismantles, assembles, and installs industrial machinery; Builds mechanical components/fixtures as needed
- Establishes electrical supply (connections, wiring) for new machinery and equipment; Assists with tool maintenance and repair if needed.
Requirements :
a) 5-7 years industrial maintenance experience (equipment and building)
b) 2 year technical degree or equivalent formal training
c) Experience with troubleshooting of electronically controlled production equipment (basic PLC, sensors, troubleshooting pneumatic or hydraulic issues, etc)
d) maintenance experience on injection molding equipment and peripheral equipment
e) Other (fast paced work environment).
Expectations:
Preventative maintenance completed on time; Maintain/improve machine uptime, availability (equipment efficiency)
Payrate can start between $23.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on qualifications and skills.
