Healthcare Credentialing Specialist

* Add, change and terminate new or existing provider records in the medical information system.
* Schedule monthly provider verifications regarding provider enrollment specifications (tracks demographic changes of providers under certain specialty types).
* Oversee Medicare and Medicaid provider directory process including achieving and maintaining compliance with state with regards to the Medicare and Medicaid directory.
* Oversee provider termination process.
* Maintain internal demographics database utilizing information from doctors' offices and monthly reports.
* Maintaining website provider directory
* Medicare and Medicaid sanctions reporting; Gather data from the assigned state to monitor current panel providers and any possible sanctions.
* Run ad hoc reports for executive meetings (as needed).
* Partner with the quality and/or credentialing departments to do monitoring.
