Medical Collections (Self Pay First/Pre Collect)

This company is a third party collection agency location in Haddonfield, NJ. They provide a service to have net back return to all clients in the healthcare, commercial and education industries.
98% of their business is in healthcare. They have three division within healthcare:
1) PRECOLLECT
Accounts that are still within the hospital. They are working for the company, but calling on behalf of the hospitals' patient financial services for the hospital
Will be calling patients that still have bills owed to the hospital
They are calling debtors throughout the day, utilizing the CUBB System and working with the patients to get their payment resolved (whether it be through a payment plan or getting the payment in the moment).
2) BAD DEBT:
Collectors are calling on accounts which are past due the 90 day period
Calling on behalf of the company, clients give more leeway in collecting, it is more aggressive because they have not paid.
3) INSURANCE (only 2 people in this division): Dealing with dirty claims, calling the insurance agencies,go to the hospital, get the paperwork and billing, dealing with insurance agencies on the insurance side.

There is 1 opening for the Precollect Self Pay First Collections division, where candidates will be responsible for the following:
Utilizing a que to pull up patient accounts, which still need to be collecting on. These accounts are still within the 90 day cycle period so they are making the first touch to attempt to get the payment resolved
Making 60-80 outbound calls per day
Being calm and empathetic to help obtain the payment.
Working with the patient to be able to obtain the payment right then and there OR perhaps set them up on a payment plan.
Will be working in computer systems
