Job Description: *Primary duties for the position include providing clerical and administrative support to area managers, Ops leader, planners and engineers. *Typical duties include, but not limited to: researching and collecting information; entering and maintaining data and records; preparing reports; preparing presentations; maintaining various logs (i.e. vacation logs, overtime logs, etc.); updating various procedures and manuals; ordering and maintaining supplies, assisting with the production accounting and investment accounting systems and other duties related to the support of Finishing/Engineering activities. Qualifications: *Associate Degree in Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, Secretarial Science; or a related degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant or Clerical Role. *Strong aptitude with PC platform including demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint *Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work within stringent deadlines. *Proven attention to detail and follow-up *High degree of independent judgment, commitment, motivation, integrity and confidentiality. Proven ability to handle and protect confidential information. *Proven communication skills with ability to work with all levels of organization and working with governmental agencies representatives. *Demonstrated analytical capability to run and understand basic reports *Flexible team player; ability to maintain a positive and professional communication style with a wide range of internal and external business contacts. *Superior organizational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and set priorities in a rapidly changing work environment *Candidates will may be required to demonstrate their knowledge and abilities of various software systems through testing. Duties and Tasks Detail *Access and learn the Company Intranet system and associated programs - time clock, IT repair requests, virtual meeting scheduler, expense reporting, etc. *Ability to use Outlook email system including calendaring and contacts functions *Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint *Learn and use Company and Site specific computer programs and systems oSystem that tracks training, safety risk analysis, safety data sheets, safety concerns oSystem that stores and tracks all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - need to edit, update create and add documents to this system. Also will categorize and organize documents within the system. oSystem for maintenance tracking and work requests/orders *Proficiency in using document copying systems (Xerox) *Create, update and use excel for production tracking reports - daily, weekly and monthly for multiple departments *Create update and close Purchase Orders in the Order request system *Ability to learn and use database systems to manage the Plant Engineering Project and Equipment. This includes learning or knowing some investment accounting rules, authorization schedules and itemization of assets into the correct accounts. Also entering in data and running reports as needed. *Daily routing Administrative Duties. Includes vacation calendars, records retention, filing, meeting coordination & set up, answer phones, *Back up for other administrative assistants on plant site
