Supervisor

The Supervisor is responsible for leading operation of one or more plant value streams. Ensure a safe work environment, drive quality improvements, develop a qualified workforce, reduce operating costs through continuous improvements. Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and annual expectations. This Supervisor position is located in Van Wert, Ohio.


The Supervisor must:

1. Ensure a safe working environment

2. Align shift schedules; assignments, rotations, employee vacations, training/coaching production line employees

3. Ensure standardized work processes are floowing & implemented

4. Instill & Maintain positive team environment, hold regular team meetings & Coordinate support activities

5. Cross training

6. Supervision & Development of a group of 50+ associates

7. Continual improvement of productivity

8. Recognize where & when improvements are needed

9. Capacity planning to ensure schedule attainment

Qualifications are as follow: 1. Bachelor's degree preferred - or equivalent experience 2. 3-5 years Management or Supervisory experience a must - preferably in manufacturing environment 3. Background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing, human resource management and inventory control required 4. Demonstrated teamwork and teambuilding skills 5. Excellent written & verbal communication skills 6.
