We are currently hiring Production Associates in the Shelbyville and Millsboro, DE areas.  This temporary-to-hire position offers the opportunity to work for a leading fresh chicken distributor that is dedicated to healthy food, families & farms.  

The shift for the Production Associate:

1st Shift is 8am to 4:30pm

2nd Shift is 4:30pm to 1am

As a Production Associate you will be:

- Use knives, cleavers, meat saws, or other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming.

- Clean, trim, slice, and section meat for processing.

- Cut and trim meat to prepare for packaging.

- Clean meat products.

- Inspect meat products for defects.

- Process parts into cuts that are ready for retail use.

- Obtain and distribute specified meat.

- Separate meats and byproducts into specified containers and seal containers.

- Weigh meats and tag containers for weight and contents.

 

To perform the Production Associate role successfully, the following is required:

 

-          Must be able to work in cold environment

-          Use hands repetitively

-          Must be able to stand for entire shift

-          Must be ale to lift 50 lbs repetitively

-          Must be able to work in fast paced repetitive work environment

-          Committed to Safety and Quality

-          Must have excellent attendance

-          Must be willing to submit to Drug and TB Screening, Criminal Background check
